NEW COBB DOT SIGNS AT QUAIL HOLLOW 
 
As you know, we recently shared the update regarding Windsor Oaks and the new No Student Drop-Off or Pick-Up signs that were added. We have now been informed that similar signs have been added at the Quail Hollow subdivision.  Similar to Windsor Oaks, they have concerns regarding parents parking at the entrance of the neighborhood, double parking, speeding, and blocking streets.
 
Due to these issues, the neighborhood worked with the Cobb DOT and new signs prohibiting student drop off and pick up have been added to their neighborhood as well. They were told these signs will be enforced and the DOT will begin ticketing people parking in these areas. 

The signs are located at the entrance on Cedar Knoll and Quail Circle.
 Please refrain from parking in this area during pickup hours.  These measures are in place to keep our students safe and avoid unsafe traffic. Thank you for your help in addressing these concerns.

Looking for ways to get involved at Mabry next school year? Look no further! Don’t believe the myth you’re no longer needed at this level because we have DAILY opportunities to help out right here at the Mabry Middle School Welcome Desk. You will have an opportunity to meet students, parents and faculty while providing support to the front office staff and community at large. 
Please email welcomedesk@mabrymiddleptsa.org if you’re interested; we would love to have you join the team! On-the-job training sessions can be made available the entire month of May, or in a large group format this coming August.

Mabry Field Days

 

FIELD DAY is almost here! This is an amazing event that our Mabry coaches work hard to make enjoyable for our kids. However, we need parent volunteers to make it a success!  We are in need of volunteers to help sort shirts, help with Kona Ice sales as well as donating supplies for Field Day activities.

8th Grade Dance

 

A Class of 2028 Farewell Celebration!

Mabry PTSA, in coordination with Mabry's Administration, are hosting the 8th Grade "Fire & Ice" Dance on Thursday, May 16th from 6:30pm-8pm at Mabry Middle School. We are excited to celebrate our 8th graders who are moving on to High School soon! 

 

 

NOTE: Parents (including 8th grade parents) and high school students are needed to help setup for the dance on Wed, 5/15 and Thu, 5/16. Please click HERE to sign up.
